Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Reinshell!

We had another Teynor wedding last night - our little Stacey took a trip down the aisle. We were looking forward to the wedding yesterday and Stace didn't disappoint and looked like our little princess! It's so hard to believe that Matt and Stacey, who I used to babysit, were all dressed up and all GROWN up...makes us feel a little old. The ceremony was perfect for them and the reception in Upper was beautiful (complete with a chocolate fountain which was a big hit - seems like that should be a wedding requirement, like cake!). The three of us had to leave before things got too crazy seeing as the baby wasn't too into grooving to the usual wedding tunes but had much fun nonetheless. It's fun to see Stacey and Doug so happy - congratulations to the both of you! Next in line? We vote Matt & Jenna!

This picture - Keagan's hand and face - just cracks me up

I swear we weren't giving the child any alcohol...the poor guy was so tired!

Where did we find this kid?

This past weekend, our cousin, Stacey, got married and Dylan was her ring bearer and let me tell you, he was loving every second of it! He did such a great job and was SO good all day long. Of course, he had several groomsmen and us cracking up during the ceremony as he was waving at us from where he was sitting at the altar. The antics continued at the reception where he unwound a bit, removed the jacket and slipped on the Chuck Taylor's instead of the uncomfortable shoes he hated. I'm pretty sure Dill drank nearly all of the sparkling grape juice at our table out of his champagne glasses, pretended to be mixing drinks and got his groove on on the dance floor (which we were so sad to miss as it was WAY past Keagan's bedtime). He's going to remember this day for a long, long time - from hanging in the "lounge" pre-ceremony to walking down the aisle to cruising in the limo and cutting a rug. Love you, little man, we're so proud of you! :)

So grown up

Our Little "Punkin" and His Pumpkins

So Jeff and I never really get into the Halloween spirit and honestly, get most excited about the leftover candy that we get to eat (never mind that fact that we always get far more candy that we actually need..."just in case" we get more kids than the year before - lol). With the baby, however, we probably shouldn't be such Scrooges so we rounded up the fam and helped the boys carve some pumpkins. Dylan loves the "guts" and was so excited to see Keagan get dirty. He worked hard on his Batman pumpkin with Aimee, I carved what I believe was my first ever pumpkin (and was pretty darn proud of it, I might add), MaMa free-handed some team spirit and Jeff cooked us up some pumpkin seeds with sugar and cinnamon. Stay tuned for pics of Keagan in his Halloween costume...he'll be a cute little chicken!

The Wagners Come to Town

After many, many years, my entire family from Arizona came to town (well, most of them anyway - we missed our cute little, Michael and Anthony) for a visit in Bucyrus. We were so excited to see uncle Ron, aunt Josie and my cousins, Rick and Jason. We've been lucky to see them over the past few years with a couple of trips out West and Ron and Josie coming to Ohio, but this was the first time in 10+ years that all four of them have made a trip back and we made quite the time of it! This was also the first time that Keagan got to meet the family, and despite the stranger anxiety he'd been having recently, he was perfectly fine with them from the very first second (that's a good sign!). Keagan and I headed to Bucyrus and got to spend the day hanging out with the family and even Big PaPa, and Vicki opened up her house for the last big hurrah before they left. It was SO good to see them and we were so sad to see them go. :( Perhaps the Beards need to make a trip back out to Arizona in oh, say, JANUARY sometime soon to return the favor!

Fruit Salad...Nummy, Nummy

Bless your soul if you get the Wiggles reference. Our family can't have fruit salad or use "yummy" without singing that catchy little diddy. A month or so ago now, Keagan started on his fruits and veggies. We started with the green veggies, moved on to the orange and are now on fruits (for no particular reason except that I like order). Jeff and I were so excited for the funny faces, gagging and all the fun that comes with a little one starting on "tasty" veggies for the first time. We were actually a little disappointed because out little guy didn't mind his veggies at all. There were a few faces and sputters when we first started with the peas, but, for the most part, he does really, really well and especially loves Aunt LouAnn's sweet potatoes!

Not so sure about this veggie business

"Where's the science?"

Jeff and I were able to take some vacation days together and ended up watching Dylan for the day so the three of us and Keagan went to Cosi for the day. Dylan loved the gadgets room, played with the squirt guns, climbed down in a submarine and watched explosions at a show. I think Dylan will probably enjoy it more in a few years since it seemed much was too old for him and the play area was a little young for him. At any rate, we had a good day, topped off with some good, old fashioned McDonald's (Dylan's pick, despite Aunt Shelly's persuasion to BW3). The funny thing was, and, I guess, the beauty of Cosi, was that Dylan couldn't figure out where the science was and when he would see it!

Here we go, Brownies, here we go!

Where the Browns are going, nobody seems to know but Keagan is ready with his gear. This is before Jeff and I headed up to Cleveland for the first game of the season (yes, I haven't posted in awhile). The last time we put Keagan in his Browns gear, he cried. All of Browns nation is with you, big guy.
