Middle Linebacker for the Irish or the Buckeyes?

"Yeah, I totally rock"

"This is how I roll at Target (and Giant Eagle and Kroger and Sam's Club...)"

Bright eyes

Keagan had his two month check-up today (even though he's really 10 weeks tomorrow) and all went well. He did end up getting 5 shots which was rather traumatic for both Keagan and Mommy but he seemed to come through well and calmed down relatively quickly afterward. He definitely didn't like the shots but almost seemed more annoyed by being pinned down on the table! Our "little" one weighed in at 13 lbs and measured 24 inches long which were both in the 90th percentile. He's getting to be such a big boy! However, Jeff was quite disappointed that Dr. Jacob couldn't assure us that Keagan would be about 6'8" and 320 lbs in about 18 years so I guess we can't quite yet spend the college fund on a fancy car or big new house!

P.S. I didn't even think to take any pictures at the appointment so I'm just posting some more recent pics of the little guy.

Movin' on Up...to the Ladybugs

The little monster before graduation

Proud mommy and Dylan (notice how he is just looking for his friends...he was SO not into taking pictures with us)

Too cute

Keagan graduating to 10 weeks

Last Thursday, Dylan graduated from his Butterfly (3 - 4 year old) preschool class to be a Ladybug (4 - 5 year old preschool). Since I'm still taking advantage of my maternity leave, Keagan and I headed up to Bucyrus for the graduation ceremony in the evening but went early to enjoy Keagan's first trip to Pisanello's Pizza (although he's probably quite familiar with it from when he was in the womb) and visit MaMa's friends at work. The graduation ceremony was so cute, complete with graduation caps, singing and the reading of graduate names. It's hard to believe Dylan is getting so big already. The teacher also went down the line of kids to ask them what they think God wants them to do. We got lots of answers like, "Be good," "Love my mommy and daddy," and "Be nice." But when the teacher came to Dylan, he got shy and couldn't answer (we all know he's SOOO shy...lol). There was even a cake and punch reception afterward which was really nice and as you can see, Keagan got into the graduation spirit. Congratulations, Dylan! :)

Kenny 2009

The Beards out and about

Part of our crew

Mr. Chesney himself on the big screen

Jeff and I took made our annual outing (5 years in a row!) to the Kenny Chesney concert (featuring Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and Sugarland) this Memorial Day Saturday with some friends, some family and some friends that are like family. We (or at least I) seriously look forward to this all year long...it's like Christmas - and it was my first big outing since having Keagan! The concert has been in Cleveland for the past few years but this year came back to Crew Stadium in Columbus which was really nice to be in town. So - we headed down to tailgate around 10:30 while Aimee and Dylan (with a cameo by MaMa and PaPa) babysat for the little guy all day. We had a fab time, as usual, although were so exhausted (yes, we'll call it "exhausted") and ready to head home to the baby once it was all said and done. Here's counting down to Kenny 2010!
